At DWBHCORP, charity and community engagement is encouraged and applauded. Charitable activity is a key foundation - consistent with our values-based, ethical work environment. One of our strategic goals is to establish an Independent Charitable Gift Fund (e. g. Donor-Advised Fund) to promote community outreach and charity, matching the philanthropic interests of our associates with the needs of the communities in which we live and work. Giving Back to our Community

Disabled American Veterans (DAV)

95 years of Service! DAV is dedicated to a single purpose: empowering veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. The DAV accomplishes this by ensuring that veterans and their families can access the full range of benefits available to them; fighting for the interests of America’s injured heroes on Capitol Hill; and educating the public about the great sacrifices and needs of veterans transitioning back to civilian life.

Blessings in a Backpack

Blessings in a Backpack provides elementary schoolchildren who are on the federal Free and Reduced Price Meal Program with a backpack of food to take home for 38 weekends during the school year. Backpack food includes easy-to-prepare, ready-to-eat foods, like granola bars, juice boxes, mac and cheese, and oatmeal. We have supported schoolchildren in Prince William County Schools.

Blessings in a Backpack is a 501 C (3) non-profit organization currently feeding over 63,000 children in 583 schools in 45 U.S. states. The program is a hybrid of private sector funding and public partnership carried out in public schools. We are feeding the future of America,
one school at a time.
